想到家，便想到每年过年时的春运，火车站里熙熙攘攘，人头攒动，外来务工子弟拎着大包小包的行李和年货赶着回家过年，这里的“回家”，我想，便只是单纯的回家，吃几顿饭，走访一下亲戚，更多地只是走走过场，有些甚至是疲于应付。与之形成对比的，是一张照片，照片中的人们透着对家乡的思念和对未来的向往，作者曹文轩便是以这张照片为背景写作了《前方》，他写道：与家相矛盾的，是人们对前方的渴望。正是人们对前方的好奇和回不去家的懊恼，更加剧了他们对家乡的思念。回不去的叫家乡。

我的家乡是一个山清水秀的小山村，那是个十分迷人的地方。
“喔喔喔”，几声高亢的鸡鸣声，打破了小山村清晨的宁静。新的一天开始了。不一会儿，勤劳的人们就三三两两上山去干活了；孩子们三个一群、五个一伙，在村东头的大树底下跳皮筋；还有不少老人坐在自家门口，一边晒着太阳，一边逗小狗玩呢！
小河边，几只调皮的小山羊正在喝水。小河里，小鱼儿凑在一起，好像正在谈论着什么新鲜事，又好像在说些什么悄悄话。突然，一块小石子被扔进河里，溅起一朵朵晶莹的水花。鱼儿们“呼啦”一下全散开了，有的躲在石缝里，半天不敢探出头来。
