几年以前，我对英语那叫什么都不会，就连yes和no都学了几学期才学会，就在一个暑假，老爸把我送进补习班去学英语。那时的'我百分之一百比愿不愿意去学习，认为大人们剥夺了我的自由。
刚开始，我不愿意学。老师见我这样，就想出一个办法来。刚刚学习完第一课，老师马上考试，因为我上课不听讲，所以我连最简单的二十六个字母都默写不来。最终得了个“大鸭蛋”，老师给其他同学都发了奖品，就我没有，还被骂了一顿。
后来我为了得到奖品，我开始学习起英语来。后来的那股子认真劲我都不知道那里来的，可能是为了得到奖品吧!

在刚刚进入启蒙级的时候才7岁，我还很小，有时学着很吃力，还经常忘了听录音。随着岁数渐渐的增长，我能听懂了，每次上学都很开心。
在学剑桥二级的时候，我有一阵子就想打退堂鼓，不再上英语辅导班了。但是，我妈妈鼓励我，说：“劭卿，这英语是必学不可的。”“加油，我相信，你一定能行的！”……听到这些鼓励的话语，我又充满了信心。
